Ferrari's Italian Villa
We are one of DFW’ most revered Italian restaurants for more than 30 years. With 7 private dining rooms available for parties, business meetings, networking socials etc... Francesco and Jane Secchi, who hail from Italy and England respectively, serve Italian cuisine with emphasis on fresh seafood, all natural steaks and fresh pasta made daily, from Northern and Southern Italy .
The adjoining Ferraris Sidecar Tavern and Dog Friendly patio, serves Roman style pizzas baked in an oak burning oven with craft beers on tap and a very nice wine list. Happy hour specials at Sidecar are offered Mon - Sat from 4 pm - 7 pm! Stop in today for a taste of Italy!

Fantastico! The owner came out and cooked our dinner at the table just because! It was AMAZING!!!
Such amazing food and service. Highly recommend.
Ferrari’s is our favorite!!!
My husband and I have had a desire to find a great local Italian restaurant in Grapevine. We moved to the city 2 years ago, but I lived in Grapevine for 2 years previously. Anyways, we were looking forward to having our anniversary dinner at Ferrari’s. Man were we in for a disappointment. Let me start by saying, the wait staff was terrific. So welcoming and friendly. When we walked in the place was pretty empty, but it was also 6pm in a Thursday so we didn’t think twice about that. We were introduced the specials, one that caught my eye was the sea bass and lobster risotto. I LOVE sea bass and a good risotto so I already knew what I was ordering. We were seated and I ordered a glass of wine, we shared an order of the calamari with shrimp. Goodness, I’ve never had a more chewy, previously frozen calamari and shrimp. We tried to bear through it, but my usually soft spoken husband couldn’t take it. The waitress graciously removed the item with her apologies. She returned with word from the kitchen they must have received a “bad order”, I worked as a waitress for 4 years, I know what frozen old fish tastes like. On to the entree with hope, my hubby ordered the lasagna and I ordered my well intended “special”. We were not impressed. My husbands lasagna was DRENCHED in cheese and grease. My special was old, frozen, over cooked sea bass served with greased down risotto with over cooked lobster. The worst part, they charged us $50 for that plate. Winewood’s sea bass puts them to SHAME. Anyways, we paid for our food and laughed in the car of what a terrible meal we had paid way too much money for. Ferrari’s tastes like a place that used to be great and who has now given up. Wouldn’t recommend and we definitely won’t be back. I hope they revive themselves soon.
A bad experience stings knowing the work my immigrant parents put into the restaurant for years. If a cook gets preoccupied and forgets calamari in the fryer it can get chewy. We can slip. We take pride in not playing with the freshness of the food. Lasagna has a traditional béchamel. A cream base alongside meatsauce. Baked and known to be "messy" like my Nonna did. Honestly it's not my favorite but people love it. If you're willing to give another shot, a glass of wine is on me. Regards -Gianni
Excellent experience! I had been underwhelmed at their Addison location in the past, but the food was outstanding, and service was also outstanding , very attentive. Will visit again!
Thank you for the review. The two restaurants are certainly a bit different so happy to hear you had a good experience. We hope you're doing well. Regards - Gianni Secchi
Fantastic meal. have been eating there since they opened. Good value, and true Italian.
OssoBuco at $34 Delish!!
Glad you enjoyed it. Osso Buco is one of my favorite things we do here. Thanks for the review, and hope you're doing well. Regards -Gianni Secchi
Food at Ferrari's is excellent. Past dining experiences have had wonderful service as well. This time we had a new server and service was slow and not as good. Overall I would return, take groups here and recommend.
Thank you for the review Molly. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed the food! Apologies about slipping up on the service. We try to do the best we can, but sometimes it just might not be the servers day. Hope you're doing well. Regards - Gianni Secchi
Very courteous and professional staff. Food was delicious
Great to hear Julia. Hope you're doing well! Regards -Gianni Secchi
This is one of the best Italian restaurants I've visited. I immediately fell in love with the ambiance. The wine selection is great. Not all menus cater to the Sangiovese so we were delighted it was on the menu and ordered it! My dad ordered the lasagna and let's just say I ate his leftovers the next day because I loved it. I ordered the ravioli and it was tremendous. The sides are family size so two may share. I learned that the back rooms are available for private parties and even weddings. Very nice atmosphere. They have Tiramisu and cappuccino too! The staff was nice and attentive. Will definitely return. The pricing was fair too, for all that we ordered for two people we were happy with the cost.
We took friends from Seattle who had never been there before. To say they were blown away would be putting mildly. They are accustomed to a restaurant in the Seattle area known as El Gaucho. If your review that restaurant and put the two together. You have an outstanding recommendation for Ferrari's
Best Italian food we’ve had since moving here 3yrs ago from the northeast
The Northeast is known to have quite the good selection of Italian food. Thanks for the kind review. Glad to hear you enjoyed it! Regards -Gianni Secchi
This place is horrible.
No point in making reservations to be seated 50 minutes later.
We're sorry. Valentines is an incredibly tricky day for restaurants. It's full with parties of 2 spread out in different time frames. Sometimes the next seating is at the mercy of the couples dining in the previous seating. We certainly don't like to hear your bad experience. If you're willing to give us another shot have a glass of wine on me. Regards -Gianni Secchi
Valentine’s Day was a complete rip off. They reduce menu dramatically and double the price. Worst part was they auto add 22% gratuity. So annoying that restaurants take advantage of customers that way. The auto gratuity is outrageous
We were there for St Valentine’s Day dinner and had the Fixed Price menu. We had carpaccio for starters, then Sea Bass with a side of pasta, and a delicious chocolate mousse for dessert. They gave each of us ladies a long stem rose at the end. It was a lovely evening. Excellent service! Good wine selection.
Great to read messages like this. Thank you for sharing. We hope you're doing well! Regards -Gianni Secchi
Valentine’s Day! It was wonderful. The food was delicious and the service excellent. Will definitely go again.
Awesome food and our server was excellent! His name is Oscar and he has been with the family owned business for 31 years. He made excellent recommendations and slight twists to their standard menu that made the food even better.
Atmosphere was great and the booth in the corner was a great break from the rest of the room.
Highly recommend it.
Glad you liked it! We agree. Oscar is the best! Regards -Gianni Secchi
This was my first visit. The food, ambiance, and service was excellent at Ferrari’s!
Love to hear this! Glad you enjoyed it. Hope you're doing well. Regards -Gianni Secchi
Ferrari's is always an awesome place to go for any occasion. They have great specials too. My favorite and goto are the lamb chops. This is a neighborhood gem in my opinion.
Love to read this. Lamb chops are by far my favorite as well. Hope you're doing well. Regards -Gianni Secchi
We enjoyed ourselves, and the meal was great. But I was a bit disappointed that no one acknowledged my birthday. A simple "Happy Birthday" was all I was looking for. What's the point of having the option of including that when making a reservation if it's not going to be acknowledged?
Ahh this is not something we slip up on and apologize. It's been tradition for years to give a complementary Tiramisu for anybody that's celebrating a birthday. Guessing the hostess might have just overlooked it, and forgot to pass on the information. If you're willing to celebrate a late birthday, that tiramisu is on me -Gianni Secchi
Excellent service. Very attentive and personable server made the meal very enjoyable. Food was great as usual.
Glad you enjoyed it Mark. Great to read this! Hope you're doing well. Regards -Gianni Secchi
This place is awesome. The food is top notch and the service is exceptional. We plan to visit again real soon.
Thanks for the great review Jason. Hope you're doing well! Regards -Gianni Secchi
Waiter started out good but service deteriorated once he started servicing a large group. I should not have to wait 20 minutes to get his attention after he served us gelato. I had to flag down another waiter to ask for the check in order to get his attention. Ruined the Birthday dinner.
Past experiences have always been very good.
Ah, you're right this isn't acceptable. Sometimes we can slip up. We hope to get another shot with you, and have a glass of wine on me. Regards -Gianni Secchi
This was a special evening to celebrate a Birthday and Engagement. The night is as wonderful. The owner spoke to us both when we arrived and when we left. The food was amazing, the service was top notch, and our celebration was unmatched. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it! My dad loves talking to the customers at the restaurant so I'm sure he was happy to talk to you and congratulate you on the birthday/engagement. All the best. Regards -Gianni Secchi
Good Italian food (the lobster&seafood goulash was great and big enough to share) and nice service. The design is very traditional, "old school" kind of .
Glad you enjoyed it Anna! Thanks for the nice review. Regards -Gianni Secchi
Absolutely awesome in every single way!
Everything was great!
Good to hear!
Overall experience was excellent. Highly recommend this place for outstanding authentic Italian food. Service was outstanding. Great value for the money
Love to hear this! Glad you enjoyed your time with us! Regards -Gianni Secchi
We met the owner and he was such an interesting man. He told us his experiences since coming from Sardinia Italy. He has been all over the world. The food is to die for. It may be a bit pricey, but the ambiance and service is top shelf. We come for anniversaries and birthdays or any excuse we can come up with. It was my 70th birthday and was treated to tiramisu dessert on the house. We are taking our daughter and husband so they can enjoy a fantastic Italian meal.
This is great! My dad loves nothing more than meeting new people and talking to them at the restaurant. He's a humble man. Came from a small town with population 3,000. Still that small too. Glad to hear you enjoyed your time, and chatting it up with my dad Francesco. Regards -Gianni Secchi
Haven't been to Ferrari's in a number of years. Forgot how good the food is. My wife and our friends each had something different and delicious. I had the Risotto and it was wonderful. We will definitely not wait so long until we return.
Glad to hear you enjoyed it John! We're fortunate to have one of the most talented chefs whose grown up with the business stick around with us. Armando really is special. Hope you're doing well. Regards -Gianni Secchi
Glad you liked it!
Great service...bar was excellent...delicious food,!!
Glad you liked it!
The Food and Service were great as usual. We had one of the private rooms for 8 people. This worked out great for our New Year's Eve Celebration.
Cocktails at the bar to start the evening were excellent.
Glad you enjoyed it. Sounds like a great night! I'm jealous! Next time invite me though! Ha. Regards -Gianni Secchi
What a special treat!
Glad you enjoyed it!
The only thing that kept it from being a perfect experience was the children at the table next to us who were running around and being loud. I realize that the restaurant didn’t cause the children to act this way but it negatively impacted the experience for all the other guest seated near them.
Ah this is always a tricky situation. We hate to hear this inconvenienced the meal. Hope you're doing well, and we can be sure to get you a quiet table next time you'd like to give us a shot. Regards -Gianni Secchi
We always love the romantic dining experience here!
Glad you enjoy it!
Good food and atmosphere
Thanks for the review Kerry!
Wonderful as always
We waited for our entree over an hour. We finally left and ate somewhere else.
We have been to Ferrari’s many times, as a party of 2, and it has been wonderful. With a party of 7 for Christmas Eve dinner the service and food were both far below our previous experiences. Not a good choice for large groups or known busy days. Will not return for large parties in the future.
