My only disappointment in 35 years . Shrimp Scampi not even close to what I’ve had many times before. Served Luke warm, and NOT prepared table side. Risotto was soupy and undercooked.
Must have been an “off” night. I’ll be back.
Lovely restaurant. Unfortunately they use styroam and plastic bags for their takeout.
The Seabass was very good and the desserts were amazing. Get their Tiramisu and Banana’s Foster that is made tableside.
The service was impeccable. We ordered the stuffed langostino which seemed pretty high priced for the actual amount of seafood. However it was tasty. My suggestion to the gentlemen who presents the specials for the evening....you should also include the price of each entree in your detailed explanation. All around, the meal was enjoyable, great service, but a bit too high priced for the portion sizes.
This was Great experience. The staff, manager, and even the owner stopped by my table. The food was probably some of the best Italian in Texas, I doubt I’d be able to find a better place. I had the rack of lamb which was cooked perfectly and even the garnish it came with was amazing. Lots of space to park. I would recommend this to anyone celebrating an occasion or even just grabbing dinner!
Food was great, definitely will return
I like supporting local businesses, but you don't always get the best food. Ferrari's Italian Villa is not like that. Everyone is friendly. The food is ALWAYS great. I highly recommend it.
The experience as usual was outstanding. The only issue was a med-med well steak when asked for med rare. All other dishes were excellent.
Always a great place for a special dinner! We went for my daughter’s 11th birthday dinner and she loved it! The Chilean sea bass was cooked to perfection, and the ribeye steak was delicious.
Was pretty mediocre , expected more . The wait for food was so long but the server did give us complimentary bread. I’m assuming they are short staffed like everyone else . But was a nice place.
Great food and nice ambiance. Easy to access Grapevine location.
You Texans have no idea what you have here. This restaurant is one of the best Authentic Italian restaurants in the states.. Its the real deal.. Pasta was perfect and home made. Sauces Breads and Pizza was amazing.. Service from Oscar and the owners made us right at home. Will be back. Tell them Chicago Mike sent you. This was a very special place.. Grazie!!
hallelujah, a great Ferrari's experience. We are long time customers of the Addison location (since sold to new owners) so it was are first time to the Grapevine location. From the time we arrived, greeted by our server and shown the specials and antipasto bar to the end the service by Andrea was attentive, patient and helpful. The atmosphere is authentic and upscale homey. Our meal was delicious. Started with carpaccio and Caesar salads. Each entree was tasty and beautifully presented. A very broad menu, i wanted to try one of the steaks or specials, but my go to is the Pollo Valdostano, so i needed to get that out of my system. We will be back soon, and i'll give the specials a try. The other 3 entrees we equally awesome. The portions were more than enough so much so that although dessert sounded good, we were too stuffed to try. A good place for a casual dinner or an elegant meal. We got a peak on one of their private rooms and it looked perfect for a future special family event.
Date night with hubby! Always love coming to Ferraris with the delicious food, fabulous staff, and romantic atmosphere.
Great food and service
We had the best time. Yes, we were excited to be taking the time to celebrate our Anniversary.
The welcome and introduction by the Hosts and Wait Staff was warm and informative.A stop in front of the wood burning oven to check out examples of Chef’s specials was enticing.
We enjoyed the antipasti and Prosecco while we discussed the enticing menu and abundant choices.
The restaurant has a formal main dining room. Our booth had room for 4, but it made a cozy zone for 2. The wait staff were all exuberant and shared great knowledge of the menu. They made great guides.
Our choices made a rockstar combination by splitting them. The Tonnarelli with Ragu (braised beef tomato sauce) and the Filet Tagliata (Complete Perfection). The filet came with the Gnocci which were also perfect and delicate and superb complement to the Ragu pasta.
Another surprise was the Roasted Brussel Sprouts - -taken to another level.
Red wines complemented all of this as we slowly enjoyed the blessing of this amazing dinner.
Espresso and Tiramisu.
What a finish.
Very attentive staff, clean and simple atmosphere, flavorful dishes with plentiful portions.
FERRARI'S IS OUR FAVORITE DINING EXPERIENCE IN THE GRAPEVINE/DALLAS AREA! FABULOUS FOOD! THE SERVICE IS PAR EXCELLENCE, THE ATMOSPHERE AUTHENTIC ITALIAN AND ROMANTIC! TABLE SIDE SERVICE IS PHENOMENALLY EXCEPTIONAL: BANANAS FOSTER & STEAK DIANE ARE MEMORABLE CULINARY EXPERIENCES! FERRARI'S IS A WELCOMING AND GRACIOUS ATMOSPHERE.
The owners are the most incredible people. We had a delightful evening.
Excellent food and service. A great place for us to enjoy our anniversary dinner!
We arrived for our daughter's birthday. Our table was ready on time.
It struck me that they were shorthanded, but Zach stepped up to our table and asked if anyone had helped us yet and said he would help us. We got water right away and ordered wine. My daughter and wife had Caesar salad and I had their Insalata del Bosco. Very good. We had an appetizer of mussels also very good. They brought bread with marinara sauce to the table, fresh baked. Enjoyed it very much! Zach was attentive but not overbearing and very pleasant to talk to and he was helpful. The owner came to our table as well to ask how things were. My wife and daughter each had the TAGLIATELLE BOLOGNESE which they loved and I had the VITELLO SALTIMBOCCA. Very good and we all had a side of GNOCCHI DELLA MAMMA. It was my daughter's birthday and she ordered the Creme Brule which she shared and it was excellent. They also brought her a Tiramisu with a candle to help us celebrate. A wonderful evening and the food, and the service was excellent!
If you want great Italian food with wonderful hosts, excellent service and at a price that is great value then Ferrari’s is the place to go, another wonderful evening
Food is pretty pricey compared to the quality, not to say that it was bad. There are better places to spend your money. Service was decent, but should’ve been quicker with how many guests were there. Shrimp tasted frozen in the shrimp scampi.
Yummy! We love Ferrari’s and celebrate most of our family occasions there. Owners are very welcoming, food delicious, and they have nice wines and spirits.
Excellent dinner and atmosphere for our date night! Steak was perfectly cooked and the service was excellent! Will go again!
We had a private room for our friends Birthday (party of 8).
The room was perfect, the food was delectable, service was outstanding - 5 Star experience, for sure!
Ferrari’s has the best Focaccia, Calamari and veal saltimbocca in town!
Very welcoming restaurant. Before we were seated we were taken by the owner and was shown the specials for the evening. From the appetizers to the main course and desert, every bite was cooked to perfection.
Highly recommended place to visit. Only negative was the drink I ordered. Tasted watered down and not made properly. Could’ve been a newer bar tender with lack of experience.
Awesome family owned restaurant fairly close the DFW airport in Dallas. Homemade pasta ravioli is excellent! Everything we have tried here has been very good!
Best food and service. Just a wonderful place to celebrate my birthday with family.
Can't wait to return. Still thinking about that place. Loved it...
Our food was delicious! I highly recommend the bone-in ribeye. It was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Also, the bananas foster dessert, which is cooked tableside, was fantastic!!! We had our almost 4 yr. old grandson with us since it was a birthday celebration...the staff included him in the tableside cooking...so much fun! We also received a complimentary piece of tiramisu, complete with a candle, to add to our celebration. Overall, the food, service & ambiance were 5+++ stars!
Arturo provided our party with the most excellent service! All of our dishes were delicious. We had the Cesar salad, Gorgonzola salad, roasted ravioli, and fettuccini Alfredo. We highly recommend!
I felt like we stepped back in time to an Italian experience for sure. Antipasto
Bar was excellent. We were first time diners there but not the last for our next special event.
We’ve lived here for 15 years and we’ve finally found our go-to Italian restaurant
Met up with friends and chose Ferrari’s because I always loved the location on Midway. Food was phenomenal (if not a bit too rich) and service levels top notch. Appeared as if the kitchen was a little behind but we didn’t care as it was a great time visiting. Wine selection decent but markup was a approaching 3 times package price.
Wonderful service and fresh food
Exceptional service, ambiance, and food! Will definitely be back :)
Excellent! We were greeted at the door by the lovely Miss Jane. Always a warm welcome. As we were guided to our table we cruised past the amazing plates on display containing the daily specials and the antipasto selections. Service was great and the food was wonderful! We chose the specials. Ordered appetizers and of course dessert! Can’t wait to go back!!
My wife and I went here for our anniversary and was amazed at how great the service and food was. From the time we walked in to the time we left was amazing! Great drinks also!
I wish I could say this place was a hidden gem but unfortunately I won’t have nice things to say. We booked our reservation via Open Table and requested a booth and noted we were celebrating a Birthday. Upon check in the beautiful host asked for our name but couldn’t locate the reservation because she didn’t care to use technology. The restaurant was pretty empty and we were seated at a table closest to the restroom where there was heavy foot traffic from the employees. Not at all what we requested even though there were booths available the entire visit. Waiter was nice but was soaked in sweat most of the time - this just grossed me out. We ordered dessert but there was never an acknowledgement of the Birthday. A simple “Thank you for choosing us, are you celebrating anything this evening?” Would have showed they care. We ordered the bolognese but they were out of that particular pasta so we substituted for penne. We didn’t know it was gluten free and wished we were told. I’ve had better service at Olive Garden for a tenth of the price. Don’t bother with this place, there are too many restaurants to choose from in DFW
