My wife and I are traveling throughout New England for the first time to celebrate our one-year wedding anniversary. While researching restaurants in Boston, we came across Porto, took note of its gorgeous setting and decor, and made a reservation. Our experience was tremendous! The weather was perfect for sitting outside on the lemon-lined “Amalfi Patio”. Chloe, our waitress, delivered exceptional, efficient service and had wonderful food and beverage pairing suggestions; she also offered great recommendations for other restaurants in the area. She truly elevated our experience. My wife and I enjoyed a dozen oysters and the melon & prosciutto appetizer to start, and both dishes were vibrant and refreshing; we had a delicious, buttery Willamette Valley Chardonnay to pair. Next, we shared the Whole Branzino entree and really appreciated the kitchen halving the fish for us before serving; it was absolutely incredible. To conclude our meal we enjoyed two cups of roasty coffee and the Plum Butter Cake — perfection. I highly recommend dining at Porto and hope that you’re able to visit during the summer months because the coastal, Italian-inspired patio area is a dream! Thank you for a wonderful evening, Chloe and the rest of the Porto crew!
