- BBrianBaltimore / Maryland •1 review5.0Dined on Jun 20, 2025What a wonderful experience. Enjoyed several different types of fresh oysters, and the softshell crab sandwich was perhaps one of the best I've ever had, and I've had many. Light, crispy, and oh so flavorful. We ate early so the dining room was still light (bar was packed for happy hour - inexpensive oysters and wine. The owner and oyster farmer Patrick, stopped by to say hi and offered a wonderful Maryland rose to complement our meal. I was quite impressed as I had not heard much about MD wines, but this one was the perfect wine to go with the oysters and appetizers. I was also very pleased to see a wonderful Finger Lakes wine from Ravines on the white list. Overall, an impressive display of food and wines. The highlight of our trip to Baltimore.More infoTrue ChesapeakePrice: Expensive• Seafood• Hampden•4.6
- RRashidWashington, D.C. Area •31 reviews4.0Dined on Jun 14, 2025On the plus side, the food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. I was surprised that the chef came to visit our table twice to deliver the food and later to inquire about how we were enjoying it. Negatives: there was no air conditioning, so the temperature of the space was uncomfortable. And we were fortunate to be in the direct line of the fan. Also, it is a small space on both levels. Lastly, too many dishes contained pork. I realize andouille sausage is a key ingredient in Cajun cooking. But it would great if they offered gumbo and/or jambalaya options without pork.More infoEthel's Creole KitchenPrice: Moderate• Creole / Cajun / Southern• Northwest Baltimore•4.8
