- AAllisonWashington, D.C. Area •13 reviews4.0Dined 3 days agoThe Standford Grill was a restaurant my family enjoyed dining at because of their good service and cozy decor. The staff is always very pleasant and the wait staff is very attentive. But after Standford Grill was renamed as Glenwood's, the quality of the food has gone downhill with price increases. We've visited Glenwood's several times yet the food continues to be disappointing. For example, my mom and I had the seasonal mushroom soup which was $16 for a bowl , approximately 6oz of salty vegetable broth with mushrooms &crunchy wild rice grains. I typically enjoy their Peartini but they were heavy handed with the pear puree. The spinach and artichoke dip tastes like a reheated frozen appetizer from Trader Joe's. These are just a few examples of what we used to order but are no longer worth ordering because they are pricey and no longer enjoyable. Hopefully, management will make an attempt at improving the quality of their food especially if other customers feel similarly. In the meantime, my family will explore other options in the area.More infoGlenwood's - Stanford Grill: ColumbiaPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Columbia•4.7
