We went in the Spring on a hot day close to Mother's Day. The food was pricy, but delicious and the presentation was fantastic. This is La Jolla after all. Try to find parking on the street nearby if possible as it is upstairs on the upper strip of shops.

Portions are great, views are stunning, and seating was very comfortable. We made a reservation and the whole service experience was easy and enjoyable. A cool atmosphere with very good seafood and appetizers to share. Our table loved the Korean sticky ribs and the coconut shrimp. Did not have drinks or dessert but the options looked enticing. I personally ordered the banana leaf steamed fish and shrimp and loved the sweet and salty blend of flavors in the sides, and the fish and shrimp was light and so fresh! I was happy with the selection of both healthy dishes and more decadent dishes too.

The Mediterranean Room never disappoints. The food is delicious, the menu well-appointed and presented beautifully. The service is excellent. This restaurant is an icon in La Jolla and its reputation is well deserved.
