Great return visit to Le Colonial Houston. I love dining here. The ambience is wonderful. The food is amazing. I had the seared yellowfin tuna this visit. It was stunning. Service is always excellent. Can't wait to return!!!

As always the atmosphere and service is top notch Our Book Club members met here for brunch and everyone was very pleased and impressed with the food and drinks. I highly recommend.

The place is beautiful,with large comfortable booths. The piano player was excellent and a perfect touch. The appetizers were excellent. We had seared scallops, grilled octopus, and blue fin tuna sushi. The Caesar salad was the best. The entree’s were very good however it could have come out hotter. I had a NY strip that was very good however it wasn’t hot enough to melt the butter I had ordered to add to it. Others at the table had different entrees and said the same thing.

Mastro’s never disappoints. My guest had a 12 oz bone in Filet Mignon prepared medium rare and I had the 8 oz Filet prepared medium. The temperatures of our steaks were perfect. The flavor and tenderness was exactly what I have come to expect from Mastro’s steaks. Literally melts in your mouth. We chose garlic mashed potatoes, white cheddar Mac & cheese and creamed corn as our sides. Excellent meal.
