Best Restaurants with Great Beer in Forest Hills

As usual, everything about this restaurant makes it a lovely place for a group of friends to enjoy a weekday lunch. The menu is interesting, the food always excellent and the wait staff is lovely and attentive.

Good food! Good service! Arrived a little early for our reservation and our table was ready.

A friend recommended Lil Owl and we thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance, service and food. The cocktails were delicious, the lasagna was tasty and the gelato was a nice way to end our dinner experience. Thank you to the friendly people who work there for making us feel welcomed.

Service was prompt and attentive. The food was delicious. We had the fish and chips and the corned beef and cabbage. I love the green margarita's for St. Patrick's Day and Guinness. Our friends had the chicken sandwich on sourdough bread with sweet potato fries and a cheese burger, all cooked to perfection! It was my husband's birthday and our friends' 40th anniversary and they each got a special slice of cheese cake, beautifully presented and everyone sang. The entertainment by the Scooches' performance was a lot of fun and we enjoyed the great atmosphere with a full house at Neirs Tavern!

Our server Leroy was excellent! Its a bar atmosphere with great burgers shakes and service. It was worth the price of the meal and i would come back!
