Best Restaurants with Great Beer in Ditmas Park

The location, the food & service was excellent. We enjoyed the views it was very romantic. The service was perfect and walking on the boardwalk was refreshing.

Everything was fabulous. The sommelier Stephen was particularly delightful. Even though we only had a cocktail and a glass of wine each, he spent as much energy and time helping us decide as if we had been ordering an expensive bottle or two of wine. Food was all amazing— the amuse vouches were as fabulous as the courses. And the view is incredible. Our first Michelin experience- it will be hard to top!

Wonderful French restaurant in Brooklyn. Great prix fixe menu for a great price. Great wine list. We had a lovely time and will definitely be back often!

An absolutely delightful neighborhood gem with attentive service and a well managed and friendly staff headed by owner Mark. Have been coming here for years, even though we've moved out of Brooklyn and find the food and service consistently at a high level. Especially delightful was the three mustard Scottish salmon and the tortilla crusted shrimp (as an entree) along with the beet / Gorgonzola salad. Wrapped it up with Mrs. Mudpie -- always a delight.

I made reservations at Verse on Smith for a group of 10 to have a birthday dinner for my mother. The menu had plenty of choices for each one of us, which is one of the reasons why I chose this restaurant. The food was so delicious, and the drinks were great! My margarita was amazing!! My mother loved her eggplant parm. The kids devoured their food. My steak with chimi sauce and risotto was sooo good, my husband kept eyeing me for an extra taste. Overall, everything was tasty. And they even sang Happy Birthday to my mom, which we all joined in and appreciated. The staff were polite and very attentive. They even called me back to let me know that someone in my party left a phone behind. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.
