Best Restaurants for Afternoon Tea in Downtown

It was my first time at the Tavern and was pleased with the service and food. As more people came in, the noise level went up which made me a little uncomfortable. I would definitely return, but plan to dine at a less busy hour.

I always love eating at Gracies. The atmosphere is very unique and the food is consistently good. Just kind of bummed that they are only open for weekend brunch now.

We had a lovely time at Bellpine to celebrate mother’s day early! So happy that Portland has a nice place like this in downtown now.

This was my second time at the tea room. I bought my niece for a birthday treat for her. Initially we were seated at a table right under fan but where kindly relocated to a warmer space. It was an enjoyable experience.

We went to the Old Asia Teahouse for our first time in order to celebrate an event. We had reserved the tea ceremony celebration, but there must have been a mix up because they just had a normal reservation. However, they quickly accommodated the switch with ease. The service was friendly and attentive, the teas were fantastic, the main dishes were lovely, the desserts were not really to our tastes, but the overall experience was wonderful! We will definitely be back!.
