Best Restaurants for Afternoon Tea in Happy Valley

The chair was bottomed out so my face was too close to my face .

My family and I have been trying out different high tea experiences in the Portland metro area and so far the Clockwork Rose is at the top. Everything was beautifully presented, delicious and very satisfying.

Great service, delicious cocktails & food (roasted chicken; Steak Frites, potato medley, parm fries; creme brulee'). Noise level started out as "quiet and came to a moderate level by the time we left to get to our show. Very pleasant atmosphere, although we probably would have preferred to not hear some of the conversation coming from the cooks in the kitchen, given what was being said. Might be important to remind the cooks that guests in the dining room can hear them. . .
