Best Restaurants for Afternoon Tea in Brookland / Brentwood

Great food and wine place before a show at the Kennedy center. Service was top notch and cocktails were great too.

The tea at the Willard is a special treat. The setting, food and service were wonderful. A harpist played during our stay. The table setting was elegant, with beautiful silver, china and glassware. Our tea foods were served on a tiered stand, and all offerings were decorative, as well as tasty. We especially loved the Devon cream spread for the scones and the dessert tartlets. All in all, it was a lovely way to spend an afternoon of elegance.

Roberts at Omni shoreham has consistently been a high level experience. Whether dining in an empty restaurant during cold months of January or a packed July 4 like this weekend the food arrives hot and consistently good quality I attribute this well run restaurant with the staff who have been there for years, particularly Annette who ensures my reservation is always honored right down to the specific table!

My friends and I were so impressed with the beautiful Tea! The service and warm reception from the start to the finish was superb! The food was outstanding and I would highly recommend having tea at St Regis.
