Best Restaurants that are Worth The Drive in Whitefish Bay

Fun night at a speakeasy in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. You need a service appointment rather than a reservation but more importantly you need to give the pass phrase (“Ice cold 7-Up”) to be admitted (through the soda vending machine) next to the front counter. The exit is not the entrance so don’t wait for someone to leave the front. We lucked into 99¢ burger night (Wednesday) - worth every penny. The drinks, shakes, etc. are also fun and surprisingly good. Definitely will return on a warmer evening this year. The only downside was parking; it might as well have been next to a fire hydrant factory - we couldn’t park within a block of the place.

This was my first time at Birch. Lola was our server and she was phenomenal! She was knowledgeable about the menu, including the cocktail and wine list and our plates were cleared multiple times when she noticed they were dirty and needed changing out. She was also warm, friendly, and engaging. The hospitality from back of house was generous and very much appreciated, and having several chefs visit our table during service made the experience unforgettable. We will be back again soon and thank you for a great evening.

We had a wonderful time with a small team Christmas party at the Knick during Happy Hour. The team loved the upscale venue including the beautiful handblown light fixtures. The staff was wonderful to us. Thanks for a great experience

Wonderful service and lunch. Cozy atmosphere. We were encouraged to stay as long as we wanted. Of course the building does need a remodel. — handicapped accessibility? Larger and updated bathrooms? New carpeting and window treatments?

Everything was great from the waiters to the food. Food portions were just right. Having 4 choices for the appetizer as well as the entree would suit any tastebuds. This was my first time eating a MATC Cuisine and will be coming back.
