Best Restaurants that are Worth The Drive in Siesta Key

We went for happy hour and we were not disappointed, it was great! We were greeted at the door and got seated at a lovely booth, although they said we could do happy hour anyplace in the restaurant, not just the bar. Food was outstanding, so was the cheerful service. We want to make this a regular stop, definitely five stars!

All dishes were delicious. Cocktails were expertly crafted. This place was just right!

Don't let the small storefront fool you. The get is tucked away not he main street in Sarasota and is worth exploring. There are other restaurants on this street but Lila's is worth the hour drive I made from St Pete. I wish we had one here. They do have sustainably managed meat and fish available, I went for the vegan options. What first appears like a storefront on the main street, opens up into an expansive space,. It is esthetically pleasing, simple and elegant. Open AC ductwork and the ceilings naturally made with wood, give you a warm but clean and welcomed feeling. You know the food will be prepared and presented the same, and it is. We were greeted by a lovely young lady, I didn't get her name, seated and given menus and told that Shane would be our server. Shane greeted us and offered menu suggestions, bot of them knew the menu well. We took the suggestions and I am still dreaming about the mushroom burger! I like fabulous food, with a lot of flavor, well prepared... Lula offers that... the in house prepared mushroom burger with the in-house prepared pickles is a completely tart bud captivating experience! I will drive to get this burger more often. And, according to their team, people do. I cannot say enough good things about this experience... If your taste buds prefer higher quality experiences - Lila, is definitely the place.

I’ve visited this location four times now, and up until recently, the service had consistently fallen short of the experience I remember and loved growing up at The Melting Pot in Fort Myers. A month ago, I dined here on a quiet Monday night, and the service was just okay—which was especially disappointing since it was my boyfriend’s first time. We decided to give it another shot on Father’s Day, going in with zero expectations—and we were so glad we did. Dara completely changed the experience for us. She was warm, attentive without being overbearing, and made us feel truly cared for throughout the entire meal. Her kindness and professionalism reminded me of what The Melting Pot should feel like. Thanks to Dara, I now know that great service does exist at this location, and I’ll definitely be back because of her.
