Best Restaurants that are Worth The Drive in San Ysidro

We loved this place for our anniversary dinner. Never been before. Found quick parking out front. We’re seated within a few minutes of our reservation time. It’s a busy place lots of servers all working together to get the job done. Everyone’s very pleasant and the atmosphere is clean and lively. Our food was delicious. We chose the swordfish steak that’s a sharing dish. It was absolutely fabulous with the béarnaise sauce. Or wine was a pinot noir from Switzerland. The sommelier poured it for us. We had the lemon tart and the orange sorbet, in house made, for dessert. So good. It was a fabulous experience. We will definitely recommend recommended to others and be back ourselves. So good! Loved the food and the vibe of the restaurant! Our server was so kind! Caesar I think!

James was our server and he was incredibly knowledgeable on the menu! We enjoyed a lot of great dishes including the oysters and the thousand layered potato (my favorite). We had a great view of the kitchen and how everything is being prepared which made the experience much more pleasant. Shoutout to Abraham! Overall, great experience and will definitely come back.

Delicious food. Oysters were delicious. The marlin sopes as well.
