Best Restaurants that are Worth The Drive in Hamden

The service was outstanding. It’s not often these days that are restaurant truly makes you feel care for and this did. This was our first time back after a while, and our experience was very positive.

We have never been disappointed at L’Orcio. The food was delicious and we were not rushed. It was particularly nice that the noise level did not interfere while conversing with our friends.

Went as a special treat for myself and ordered the chef’s tasting menu. Everything was phenomenal, with a thoughtful variety that all felt very cohesive, and the entire staff was attentive, friendly, accommodating, and just overall lovely. I will definitely be returning in the future.

Went with a friend and sat in the bar area because there was a private event in the dining room. The roasted oysters with hen of the woods mushrooms was different and superb. The barata with prosciutto and figs was delicious also. For entree the crispy duck breast with mission figs and Brussels sprouts was cooked perfectly. My friend had the Scottish salmon and she said it was excellent. I would highly recommend Artisan and definitely would order the above dishes again.

The manager was excellent, very helpful to our whole party.
