Best Neighborhood Gem Restaurants in Warrendale

We had a great time. Food was excellent and our server Tara was top notch.

Our hostess and servers were awesome. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and friendly. The food was outstanding. The Crispy Calamari was crisp and thin with an orange sauce at the bottom and some delicious creamy sauce on top. There were a few slices of fried and crusted limes, which were delicious. I had the Seafood Tasting, which was cook to perfection and resting on a bed of pea pure and lentils al dente, which was awesome. My wife had the Ricotta Cavatelli, which was very tasty too. We shared the Carrot Cake for dessert, which was like a cake with a thin outside layer of something like a cheese cake and the carrot cake inside with crispy walnuts. The bill was surprisingly reasonable. We will most definitely go back when we return to Pittsburgh.

Enjoyed a visit to Breakneck after church on Father's day weekend. Had not been there in a while and opportunity presented itself to return We both enjoyed fantastic meals Mahi, and Chicken) and a great bottle of Prosecco to may the day most enjoyable. The Raspberry Chocolate Torte was amazing, we shared. They are consistently good at The Breakneck, have enjoyed a number of great meals there over the years. Place was packed full and noise level high, so a little hard to talk, but young server was excellent, attentive, and did a great job. All around great place to enjoy dinner!

I visited this restaurant while traveling for a wedding and had a wonderful experience. The service was exceptionally friendly, and the food was outstanding. I was also impressed by the general manager, who was both courteous and clearly attentive to the quality of each dish leaving the kitchen.
