Butterjoint is a comfy bar and restaurant located in North Oakland. Our welcoming and eclectic atmosphere is appropriate for almost any occasion - whether it be meeting a friend for a drink, celebrating an important event, or relaxing after work. Our menu is a mixture of familiar Pittsburgh foods (think pierogies, hamburgers, French fries) and French bistro classics (beef tartare, raclette, mussels), and seasonal classics that come and go throughout the year. Fabulous meal. Great idea to gather people in lounge to try small bites before the main meal started. Every course was delicious, interesting and well explained. The One Experience pairings worked very well with the food - good selection of wines and interesting cocktails. The joy of everyone working there and their pride in the food and drinks they were serving was obvious. Will return next time we are in Pittsburgh.

Wonderful restaurant with everything from gourmet sandwiches to excellent entrees such as beef short ribs and crab cakes. Also has great vegetarian options. The waitstaff and manager were very accommodating and helpful. Very nice vibe to the whole place. Alfresco dining also available.
