- MMichaelvipDallas - Fort Worth •17 reviews5.0Dined todayJohn’s Grill is great. Don’t go expecting a 48 oz. Tomahawk Ribeye, but go looking to have a fun time with really good food at a reasonable price in a boisterous environment. Both the Caesar and true Roquefort dressing salads were outstanding and clearly house made. The steaks were good sized for the price and extremely flavorful and tender. Add in two cocktails with the two salads and two ribeyes for a tab of $175 in late 2024. They even had some live light jazz playing as we ate. As an indication of our collective feelings toward John’s, my wife was a skeptic going in but as we waited for the Uber home she thanked me for finding the place and announced we will be back. Highly recommended for a somewhat crazy and raucous night out.More infoHistoric John's GrillPrice: Expensive• American• Downtown / Union Square•4.7

- NNormanSan Francisco Bay Area •9 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoAs always, Scoma's is a thoroughly professional and delightful restaurant. The "seasoned" waiters are always thoughtful and helpful. The cocktails (like my excellent Manhattan) are skillfully made. The fish is always super fresh. And the restaurant's cioppino is the best in San Francisco, I think.Yes, it's more expensive than it was before the pandemic. But the quality of the dockside restaurant is worth it.More infoScoma's Fisherman's WharfPrice: Expensive• Seafood• North Beach•4.7
- MMercedesvipSan Francisco Bay Area •92 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 16, 2024A while back, I cannot book reservation on Open Table app the time we wanted but I still booked at a later time. When I called the restaurant directly, the hostess was able to adjust the reservation to the time we wanted. We arrived to our reservation at 12:30 pm today. The hostess Daria was so accommodating when I asked to change our table to a better view of the water. The server was nice explaining the good red wine on the menu according to my liking. I ordered the recommended Meiomi red wine. It was light to my taste which was good. My friends got white wine and Irish coffee. For starters we ordered the Horseradish Deviled Eggs with Bacon and tasted good. My friends ordered the same Crab Cake Benedict and Classic Eggs Benedict. I got the Pan Seared Jumbo Sea Scallops over the risotto. The whole food was delicious. The interior ambiance was beautiful. The service was superb. A few times I visited the restaurant in the past and I don’t mind returning for occasions or just to hang out with girl friends. I recommend The Trident restaurant even it’s a drive to Sausalito from different angles of places.More infoThe TridentPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Sausalito•4.5
