A typical food love story. A boy meets a girl while eating pizza. He attends culinary school and open’s a pizza restaurant named after the girl. Thus bringing us to Emily! The Manhattan iteration of the Brooklyn based pizzeria centered around a historic brick oven and comforting food. Emily has earned a following for its signature Detroit-style pies and award winning burger. The pizza here is rectangular (not round) and utilizes the "frico" technique, in which cheese is drizzled on the edges of the pie to create a crispy brown exterior. Beyond the main event, the menu extends to include salads and sandwiches, which shouldn't be ignored (think an attention-grabbing burger and a top-notch spicy fried chicken sandwich). Please note, there will be a time limit of 1 hour 30 minutes for guests so we can fairly utilize our limited capacity. Our outdoor dining is enclosed with heaters that will keep you toasty! Given the lack of black owned Michelin restaurants generally and within NYC, I wanted to see if it matched the buzz. Clover Hill is a quaint place tucked within a leafy Brooklyn block. Service was pretty top notch and thoughtful, and the food was presented with just enough panache and space for the diner to enjoy on his/her own. Competent wine and cocktail list - my only slight thought is that for the occasional solo diner (we exist), the full tasting menu and seating options should be offered.

Amazing pizza, service was exceptional, overall very good experience. The price is excellent for the quality as well. We live in the neighbourhood and will be repeat customers.

A wonderful spot with an attentive and helpful staff. Our party had enchiladas, margaritas, and buñuelos with mole. Everyone was very pleased. The staff is especially helpful and pleasant.
