Best Historic Restaurants in Lower Garden District

Breakfast at Brennan’s is a classic New Orleans experience and this did not disappoint! The French toast appetizer was like dessert before the main, and both breakfast entrees were spectacular! The staff was AMAZING! Friendly, delightful and warm!

Latisha was incredible. She paced our meal and had the best attitude and energy that really enhanced our meal. David was very helpful as well. The restaurant was amazing, the food was incredible, and the service was impeccable.

We had a wonderful jazz brunch. Everyone’s food was delicious. I highly recommend it. They did seem to be short staffed but friendly and accommodating.

We came for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The duck was fantastic with the crispy outside with a flavorful, tender rare inside. The cream puffs were rich and creamy topped with a delicious cookie. The servers were polite and helpful answering all our questions. Our reservation was for 11am so we were among the first to arrive. All the patrons were seated in different areas of the restaurant to make the dining experience quiet and private.
