- BBrentVIPVirginia •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWonderfull place, fantastic ambiance, great history, beautiful grounds, great service, and very accommodating for allergies. Cooked in olive oil for us to avoid seed oils, though heating olive oil is not ideal. Only ask would be capability to cook in Ghee, Tallow, or Coconut oil. Awesome that they do farm to table, right from their organic garden!!More info1799 at The CliftonPrice: Very Expensive• Farm-to-table• Charlottesville•4.6

- AAmyVIPWashington, D.C. Area •26 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoExcellent cuisine in a quiet and civilized setting. We had the soft shell crab appetizer, a salad, the bavet steak special and duck confit with gnocchi. The desserts were sticky toffee pudding and a house mocha coupe (sundae). All the food was excellent with huge props to the chef on the expertly cooked and very large soft shell crab. The gnocchi were also amazing pillows of delight! Our server was solicitous and quietly friendly --she helped on the wine selection and made sure the kitchen got us out and done in time for our concert. We enjoyed every moment at the outstanding gem of a restaurant!More infoC&OPrice: Very Expensive• American• Charlottesville•4.9
