In the Roanoke area we have a lot of allergy issues that restaurants must deal with. The latest [Alpha-gal which I have] is one of the fastest growing in the mid-Atlantic states. Alexanders not only has terrific food, they are genuinely committed to caring for any reasonable requests and accommodations for allergies. Great food, great service and consideration for unique needs of diners put them at the top of my dining list.

Always a pleasure to have brunch at the Hotel Roanoke! The food is wonderful, and the service is great.

From the soup to the dessert, everything was delicious. I had the crab bisque and the pistachio pesto pasta and my mom had the house salad with the roasted red pepper pasta. We shared the cinnamon roll bread pudding for dessert. Suffice it to say there were no doggie bags, we ate every bite!

The hostess warned us that they had overbooked. However, we had excellent service and the food was amazing. I commend the staff for rising to the challenge

We had co the best waitress we have had in a while going out . Very personable !!Loved her glasses !! The food was good except the Brussels sprouts tasted like they just shaved them and didn’t fry them :( The waitress helped out by exchanging them for another side :)
