Best Healthy Restaurants in Welwyn Garden City

Decided to find a place for lunch last minute, and found this really nice Pub, the Food and Drink was really good and a nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon

Food very good; fish excellent. Service very efficient. Quite noisy.

As we booked at the last minute and the restaurant was almost full, we were offered a bar table, ie a tall bench seat with stools set in one of the front window bays. This was a perfect place to watch the world go by on Fore St. Service was friendly, courteous and professional, with our food and wine order taken promptly. Our dishes were delicious and hearty enough to leave us without any space for pudding, with great options for veggie and fish as well as meat. Once we had requested and settled the bill, we were given space to finish our drinks and leave at our own pace, under no pressure to rush. Overall a great place to visit with a lovely atmosphere, either for a relaxed meal or a special occasion. Their commitment to sustainability is a bonus.

Yet again, another great dinner at Lussmanns. The food (steak) was fantastic as was the pudding (an orange and almond cake). The team were lovely, very pleasant and attentive. Great service. Live piano.

We arrived for brunch, instead of dinner, which meant that we were able to take advantage of some brunch specials-such as a bottle of Prosecco for £20. We loved everything about our stay; the seafood platter was so fresh and tasty as were the burgers. We were so comfortable in the armchairs and really could have stayed longer but had a concert to attend that evening. We will look out for other Bill's in the future.
