What a lovely restaurant. Able to cope with a table of 10. Staff were patient, keen to help and efficient. They even helped get the little ones more crayons. Food was gorgeous. I really liked the way the restaurant handles deserts with a huge choice of cakes and ice cream you chose yourself from their covered counters.

As we booked at the last minute and the restaurant was almost full, we were offered a bar table, ie a tall bench seat with stools set in one of the front window bays. This was a perfect place to watch the world go by on Fore St. Service was friendly, courteous and professional, with our food and wine order taken promptly. Our dishes were delicious and hearty enough to leave us without any space for pudding, with great options for veggie and fish as well as meat. Once we had requested and settled the bill, we were given space to finish our drinks and leave at our own pace, under no pressure to rush. Overall a great place to visit with a lovely atmosphere, either for a relaxed meal or a special occasion. Their commitment to sustainability is a bonus.

Very good meal , with good value and friendly service,just a great pity we were the only customers. I think they would get more customers is that they improved the signage outside including improved signage to there car park. Also I think there are to many thinks on the menu , especially as there is two cuisines on offer. Also as most English people are not very familiar with Japanese and Mexican food, it could help to have several set menus a different prices to help customers learn about the food available. Overall well worth the visit
