- KKathryn AnnSan Diego •12 reviews5.0Dined on Mar 27, 2025This is such a quaint little place. I love it because they had some one-sided booths available. It was a tad chilly, but the patio has ocean view and heaters. I’d like to go back and sit out there when the weather is nicer. The French onion soup was good. I got the spinach quiche. I think I would recommend to try the artichoke next time. It was also good. My daughter got an omelette with jalapeños which she loved and the only disappointment was my champagne cocktail at $19 I expected more it literally just taste like champagne when it was to have 2 liquors added. when I drank a few sips they took it back and added it and then it was so strong. I could barely drink it. the highlight of this lunch was definitely the pear tart. our waiter was very nice, but the patio kept him busy and we were his only interior table. kind of crazy that this lunch for two was $135. I would go back and just not drink the alcohol and maybe try some other entrées. The menu was expensive and there was a lot of things that sounded good.More infoC'est La Vie Restaurant and BakeryPrice: Expensive• French• Laguna Beach•4.4
