A very good lunch. One had a very varied and tasty risotto. I had an excellent, well balanced shepherd’s pie with firm carrots snd a minted pea puree. Great treacle tart to follow. One of us had the special dessert— a complicated ice cream with little chunks of diced fruit and coconut. Served in a tall glass. All very well but impenetrably deep frozen. Spoon would have given way first. Waiter returned and wasn’t surprised to find it needed a blast in the microwave. Said most diners asked for the same follow up, raining obvious questions about concept or storage or both! Otherwise a good afternoon…

A lovely dining room for a lovely meal. We will definitely be going back.

Lovely pizzas and wine in a beautiful setting with lovely service.

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at The Yurt. The food quality was excellent and service was too. We have recommended it to others and will be back again soon.

Good tasty roast beef but served warm not hot on a cold plate. Ambience of the Crown is bare boards.
