A lovely dining room and accompanying gardens/grounds, and excellent service. Food was tasty, but portions were VERY small, especially for the price. While I realize this is a higher-end establishment, charging $11 for a tiny glass of "freshly-squeezed OJ" (which was clearly NOT fresh, and from a carton...unless they did something really wrong to those oranges???), and leaving hungry kept me from giving it 5 stars. Still a lovely spot for brunch.

This is our second visit to the Courtroom. We were celebrating my husband's 60th. Another restaurant, where we had a gift certificate, cancelled three hours before our reservation! We remembered the Courtroom and were able to find an early, same time slot, table. The Service here shines. The crew works as a team, wherever they are needed. Julie a smiling, thoughtful, and personable waitperson. The restaurant manager checked in on tables, assisted with clearing. The servers and bussers friendly. Our meal was better this time, the Statler chicken more tender, with amazing Brussel sprouts. The rigatoni Bolognese very good, pork Milanese awesome with Berkshire pork, seafood dishes spot on, smash burger thumbs up, the focaccia outstanding every time, the salads fresh and delicious. One tiny negative for the evening was the apple brown betty, uncooked oats on top, peculiar flavor, unappetizing for a dessert with the only saving grace the ice cream (Arethusa) on top. A team member reported our dissatisfaction and removed it off of our bill which was very appreciated. This is a small restaurant but with a successful dynamic that hopefully will continue and get better with time.

Always a favorite!! Perfection in every way!! The food, service and ambience make for a lovely summer lunch.
