Service and vibe were very good. Food was disappointing overall. Corn and avocado dip was delicious. Calamari arrived cool and tasted fishy which was very disappointing. Birrea tacos were ok. My filet was just fine - needed seasoning, fries were cold, other folks at my table had cool/cold food as well. If the place worked on their food, I’d return for dinner but instead would probably just return for drinks at the bar.

Our server perhaps was new. He had trouble understanding what we were saying or asking. He also served as the bartender and shook the drinks VERY loudly and VERY long (too long) above the bar which made it extremely noisy at our table. The drinks were very slow to come out. The overall food and ambience were wonderful. We introduced some friends to Indiana food and they loved it.

This place is a total gem. I like giving money not just for great food but for the effort a restaurant puts into bettering the social and biological environment. Bang Up to the Elephant was a great place all around. I was treated so well and would go there again next time I'm in Denver.
