Best Vegan Restaurants in ByWard Market

We went for an Escape room (illusionist) and dinner. Dinner was good, for the price it was a good meal. I had the beef sandwich which was excellent and my husband had the poke bowl which was nice fresh ingredients, he just asked for a little soy sauce and he really enjoyed it. Our server was great. No complaints. I Love that you can take a drink with you into the room. The escape room... Although the puzzles were fun the room is in very rough shape. One puzzle was so worn down and rough that we ended up just making it up based on the image on top and the girl at the end just said "yeah it does't really work anymore" we wasted a lot of time trying to solve something that wasn't solvable. The story they tell you at the beginning has almost nothing to do with the puzzles in the room, it was a little odd. We love escape rooms and had fun with it but they absolutely need to give their rooms some attention. It's one of the roughest in the city that we have come across. Maybe the other rooms are better. 4.5 stars for the restaurant. 3 for the escape room.

Great burger made with very fresh ingredients. We also had fantastic, friendly service from Mason. An enjoyable experience.

What a treat it was to discover ViV! The menu is very creative and extremely well crafted, the cocktails are a revelation, the staff is very attentive and knowledgeable, and clearly enjoys seeing their guests enjoy what they present. And the fact that everything is gluten-free is just the icing on the cake! I'm almost afraid to rave about the place, though - it may become impossible to get a booking . . .

Very accommodating, courteous, and fish and chips are a "must". The manager is excellent and made sure that we were welcomes and well taken care of.
