We always enjoy our occasional Sunday lunch at the Well House. With the weather, it was a lot quieter than usual. The service was swift, efficient and friendly as ever. No skimping on staff numbers! Food was good: I had the roast beef, and - as I am not a vegetable lover - was given an extra Yorkshire and roast potatoes without asking for or paying extra for. Three nice thick slices of beef. My mother had the scampi, which she particularly enjoys with the accompanying salad, and as a light eater she took home a doggie-bag of crispy chips. We didn't drink much, so with one pudding and a coffee between us, the bill came in at £56 - good value for a Sunday lunch.

Good service and good food but lady behind bar told us don’t usually cater for nine people as there wasn’t a table for us a couple kindly moved to allow us to occupy a larger one I would like to return but would they be able to accommodate us in the future

Very nice atmosphere and venue, food tasted great and wonderful attentive service. Would highly reccomend.

The staff here really did go above and beyond to give us great service. Th food was lovely!
