The Ox Barn is a 56-seater destination restaurant under the direction of Head Chef, Charlie Hibbert.     Great food, great people, great pub! Staying on nearby campsite and remembered the pub from our last visit. It didn't disappoint. Staff are super friendly and the food is to a very high standard, we had another lovely visit and will be back again!

    A wonderful dining experience at the Angel today. The food quality was exceptional, the team were very welcoming and attentive and the interior was very comfortable and relaxing. I would not hesitate to come back.

    Had the mothers day lunch which we really enjoyed Staff were lovely & accommodating from starters to deserts - was great and filling! Would definitely go back again

    We were originally seated by a door which was letting in a draft . We asked to be moved. A young waiter was asked. He really didn’t want to move us despite there being several no shows. He went over to another member of staff and said “you sort it, they want to move” it was really rude. Food was ok…… lacked seasoning and despite menu sounding impressive it isn’t quite there yet.
