Carlton Wine Room is a neighbourhood restaurant offering a well-executed, fresh, seasonal food menu, and an ever changing, diverse wine list featuring the best of Italy, Australia and the rest of the World. We offer a bar space, an upstairs restaurant dining room and three unique spaces that are can be booked for private dining perfect for special events.RESERVATIONS: are for a two hour sitting. We do not accept bookings for drinks and snacks, however we accept walk-ins for this if space permits. A surcharge of up to 1.2% applies to credit card transactions. A surcharge of 10% applies on Sundays and 15% on Public Holidays. OUTSIDE SEATING: please note this is subject to the weather and we may not be able to move your reservation inside in the case of bad weather. CANCELLATION: A $50 per person no show fee is charged for failing to attend your reservation. Contact us on 9347 2626 to make changes or cancel your reservation.

Para entrar al salón hay que subir un angosto tramo de escaleras desde la calle de ladrillos rojos. La sala es amplia y abierta y a la vez está llena de recovecos.     Casual formality. The service my wife and I experienced was some of the best service we have experienced in Melbourne - on par with Vue de Monde or Society, but much less pretentious. Both of our meals were excellently prepared. Check out the wine list. A solid selection of good wines without breaking the bank.

    This restaurant is quickly becoming my regular catch-up for dinner spot with friends, I love it so much. The food is so good and flavoursome and fresh and lots of options for those people who are vegetarian. The staff are so warm and attentive and are really knowledge about the menu which is becoming so rare in this town. There is lots of great bar/wine options and a great vibe for one-on-one or groups alike. Highly recommend.
