We are a small, independent family run restaurant since 2002 specialising in grass fed Aberdeen Angus beef from Scottish small highland farms, cooked simply but with flair and attention to detail. We also serve fresh fish from local fish mongers west coast mussels, salmon, shrimps & Prawns. Our emphasis is on high quality local ingredients and fresh produce from the best of local suppliers. Beef is selected, prepared and hung for us by Award wining "John Gilmour" of Macmerry master butchers since 1946. Fresh fish are delivered daily by Calum Sinclair and J.K Thompsons. West coast Mussels are delivered freshly daily by "Sea Mcgee". Artisan and farmhouse British cheeses are supplied by renowned Edinburgh cheesemonger, Iain Mellis and dairy produce from Fife Creamery. Zur Begrüssung bekamen wir zuerst je 1 Auster. Lecker. Das Essen war sehr gut. Die Bedienung rasch und äusserst freundlich mit einer Prise Humor. Eine schöne Auswahl an Muscheln, Fisch, Fleisch und auch Vegi.

Ist ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen. Das essen ist gut aber teuer. Der Service ist nett, freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Das Essen war wirklich lecker und der Service sehr aufmerksam. Allerdings gab es nur ein Hauptgericht für Vegetarier und im Speisesaal war es sehr laut. Die Preise waren gehoben und der Service wurde mit 10% auf der Quittung berechnet, was vorher nicht kommuniziert wurde.
