We had a special birthday dinner & started with strawberry lemonade, along with house baked focaccia with olive tapanade & whipped ricotta. It was delicious. My spouse ordered the Skuna Bay salmon with bamboo rice, green curry, & pickled veggies. A pescatarian, he said that it was one of the best meals he has had ever had. I ordered the turkey burger with fresh fruit. It was huge & flavorful with a fresh challah bun. I opted for fresh fruit & raspberry sorbet for dessert. It was to die for! Lara, our waitress/bartender, surprised us with a special birthday dessert, a honey dessert board with a little birthday cake. One thing about the Gaylord Rockies Hotel is that everything we ate there was top notch, including this restaurant.

Jack's is one of our favorite restaurants in Denver and this birthday dinner for my partner reinforced why we love it. We were greeted warmly by the host and our server, who also acknowledged the special occasion. Service is attentive, but never rushed. We both enjoyed new cocktails on the menu for summer. Our salads to start were delicious, attractively plated, and just the right size. My partner had a fillet, cooked exactly as she requested and my dry aged Chilean sea bass was superb. Jack's is the only restaurant I know of that dry ages fish. It's genius! Amazing what a difference it makes in the flavor of the fish. As we almost always do, we shared brussels sprouts that have a nice char on them and are dressed with a delicious sweet chili sauce. I'm not a dessert guy, but my partner loved her giant warm chocolate chip cookie with ice cream and chocolate sauce. The little happy birthday note written on a chocolate wafer and the thin gold candle in the cookie capped off a festive meal with a bit of flair.

Our servers were excellent, food was delicious and the atmosphere is lovely.

The DC super heros breakfast was awesome. My grandchildren loved the food the TVs with the children’s movies playing was awesome for the kiddos. The venue was beautiful just the right size.
