- MMary BethSt. Louis •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoI made a reservation for my husband's birthday after the Tenderloin Room was recommended to me by a coworker. My husband and I love trying new steakhouses, and he loves surf and turf, so I thought The Tenderloin Room would be perfect. It did not disappoint! We appreciated amenities like the coat check and valet. We were seated at a quiet and private table immediately upon arrival. The service was fantastic, and we loved that we could see the cooking area from our table. My husband really enjoyed the surf and turf and French onion soup. The complimentary birthday dessert was a very nice touch. I opted for the strip, which was tender and cooked perfectly. The brussels sprouts were equally amazing. Overall, it was a great birthday dinner for my husband. We both thoroughly enjoyed it, and will be making plans to return soon.More infoThe Tenderloin RoomPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• St. Louis•4.8
- JJoeKansas City / Kansas •15 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoInitially I was reluctant to go here since it is a hotel restaurant but the weather was not good so we went. Good choice! My wife got the burrata caprese salad and I had mushroom and black truffle soup. The caprese was delicate and the soup was rich and perfectly prepared. For main courses my wife had la classics lasagna napoletana, which was firm and deeply meaty, quite delicious. I had the tagliatelle don Alfronso, which was to die for. The sauce with their home grown tomatoes was exquisitely sweet and the home made pasta perfect. I’m of Italian ancestry and have been eating Italian food my whole life and I cannot recall something this delicious, even when we’ve been in Sorrento. The service was attentive and helpful and the owner interested in our thoughts. Highly recommended.More infoCasa Don Alfonso - The Ritz-Carlton St. LouisPrice: Very Expensive• Mediterranean• Clayton•4.3
