SAGRADA – A Culinary Journey of the Psychedelic Mind by James Beard-nominated KNEAD Hospitality + Design.SAGRADA explores the transformative power of psilocybin—without its physical presence. For millennia, cultures have revered psychedelic mushrooms as sacred medicine, guiding healing, expansion, and self-discovery. Nowhere is this connection more profound than in Mexico, where these fungi are deeply woven into spiritual traditions. Creative Director & Facilitator Michael Reginbogin brings this legacy to life through Mexican cuisine, crafting each dish as a chapter in a psychedelic journey. Rooted in indigenous ingredients, ancient techniques, and modern innovation, our menu offers two paths: an eight-course plant-based menu or a flexitarian menu, primarily plant-based with select animal-sourced ingredients.

An eclectic menu of hearty, classic bistro dishes crafted with New York flair. Think: A hearty Wagyu French Dip, topped with mozzarella and a creamy horseradish au jus, served on a perfectly crunchy baguette; or the Lobster Frites, made with luxe Maine lobster; the Bolognese Blanc, with freshly made rigatoni in a luscious white wine sauce, topped with wagyu beef ragu and parmigiano reggiano; or the innovative Caesar Salad with Fried Cream Cheese Croutons, which takes a classic Caesar and modernizes it with the flavors of that New York staple – the everything bagel. The star here, however, is the over-the-top Angie Chop Martini, a thinly pounded, breaded pork chop redolent of butter, lemon and red wine vinegar, topped with hot peppers and parmigiano reggiano imported from Italy.

Here's a polished review you can use: --- We had an incredible experience at Iron Gate. The food was absolutely amazing. Every dish was thoughtful, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. The staff went out of their way to be accommodating with our 2-year-old, making what could have been a stressful meal feel easy and enjoyable. Our waiter was top notch; attentive, kind, and genuinely made us feel welcome. To top it off, the bar treated us to a complimentary drink for Father’s Day, which was such a thoughtful touch. Loved everything about our visit and we can’t wait to come back.

I made reservations for a Sunday Brunch- Upon entering, we were warmly greeted and seated. Our server, Julia was exceptional in providing an introduction to the menu, its selections and recommendations. She was very friendly and was cautious with the food (nut) allergy we mentioned. The martini's were absolutely amazing and the bar cart with experience that Michael (bartender)provided, was top tier! Price point for a party of 2 w/a 20% gratuity included was $350'ish + additional gratuity due to the exceptional service. Will return again on a Saturday night for the Greek experience vibes and libations.
