Best Romantic Restaurants in Brookland / Brentwood

I had not been to the Tabard Inn in a while, but so glad we had lunch there today. Everyone from the host to the server was welcoming and nice. The food was delicious - I had a salad with grains, greens and squash that i topped with grilled shrimp and it was fabulous. I will definitely be back soon.

Outstanding- from the service, to the food to the atmosphere. Worth the expense. An experience!

Jont is remarkable. We've been fortunate in life and have been to 20 Michelin 3 stars. Jont deserves a third star. The four of us were in agreement that it's a top five restaurant of all time for us. For us that puts it in the league of Alinea and the Fat Duck. High praise. Everything was perfect. Beautiful presentations, incredible food, perfect service. We even loved the music in the main dining area. We were celebrating a special occasion and worked with Kinga, who helped us surprise our son with a special gift. She and the whole team were remarkable. The test of a Michelin 3 star is, would you make a special trip to a City just to dine at the restaurant? We've been to multiple 3 stars where we've come away amazed, but not sure we'd make a trip just for the restaurant. Jont is different. Even if we didn't live in DC, we would make a trip here to dine at Jont. It's a special experience.

Fabulous and unique!!! They make a special effort to introduce you to the fruits, ingredients and recipes of the Amazon, as well as to high quality fish imported from Japan. Wait staff very informative and efficient!

One of those places that lives up to the hype and then some. Everyone there makes the experience more than worth the investment. The food is both thoughtful and creative and just beyond delicious. The staff absolutely make the evening. They are attentive and not pretentious, they truly turn the evening into an event and not just a meal. Wonderful head to toe.
