Best Romantic Restaurants in Waverton

The food was delicious. We had the tasting menu and all the dishes were delicious and well priced for the amount and quality of the food. The service was excellent, friendly, efficient and attentive. We are a couple in our 60’s and found the music too loud for the small space and it was very energetic. The restaurant is very dark and we needed to put our phone torch lights on to read the menu. Overall an excellent restaurant and would definitely return.

The food was really good, our service lady was amazing. Loved the whole experience. Will certainly be going again.

This is our fifth visit since late January and the restaurant is full house. Besides our usual orders - Peking duck, xo crab noodles, combination fried rice - we also tried something different. We finally tried the famous prawn toast and it’s really good; my partner reckoned it’s the best in Sydney. We also tried the battered coral trout; it’s lightly battered and cooked to perfection, very delicious. Service is attentive and approachable as always. It’s really sad that Song Bird is closing down in early Aug and we will miss it - the decor, the food, the service.

We recently broke the restaurant record for most burgers eaten by a single customer (4), who also ate the Murry Cod and Macaroni alla Vodka in the same sitting. All I have to say is, next time we go back, that record will be broken by the same man!
