Rengaya has been serving YAKINIKU in North Sydney since 1993, making it one of Australia’s pioneering Japanese barbeque restaurants. Now, that tradition is set to continue at its new digs on Miller Street – just a short stroll from the original location – in a much more modern, striking setting. Best sushi that I have had in Sydney. Had a great lunch there and tried a couple of different sake/Nihonshu to go with it. Chef Jiho’s “omakase” choice of sushi, each piece is carefully crafted. He is passionate about what he creates. Will go back for sure; want to try the dinner course too.
