Best Romantic Restaurants in Station North

The Bygone is indeed an awesome restaurant, the service there is wonderful and their food is just as beautiful as it should be.

Even better than i remember! Haven’t been to Sotto Sopra since pre-COVID-this is a must-do restaurant in downtown Bmore! Fantastic Italian food and wine list, great cocktails, and the setting is lovely. Service wonderful. For pre-show or an evening destination-we lingered over dinner dessert coffee and apres-dining drinks-were not rushed and enjoyed every minute.

Nice restaurant, nice interior decoration , great ambiance and service, but the food was not as sophisticated as it was last summer. The arugula salad was not so fresh , the scallops were delicious despite the poor accompagnement ! Great cocktails and wine.

I visited Magdalena at The Ivy Hotel with my sister for their Tea Service. We arrived a little early and were given a tour of the lovely hotel from a gentleman at the valet station whose name I unfortunately can’t recall. We were allowed to see Room 2 also known as the Watermelon Room. It was a well appointed space that I would love to return and stay in. We were moved to music/billiard room as we were the only guests. Emma, our server, had an amazing knowledge of teas. We were provided a sniffing board that we could use to smell each tea while she explained each tea. We learned everything from how they were made and how they are best served. We both selected Equitea ( a local company)Teas. The tea was delicious and the pastries were some of the best I’ve had. Emma was also very knowledgeable of the area and explained the neighborhood’s history with musical anecdotes. Magdalena has drinks that celebrate many local musicians. I really enjoyed myself and look forward to returning.

Excellent dining experience as always. Went here with a friend to catch up and since it was a week night it was not crowded or loud so it was perfect for dinner conversations. The staff were excellent and we were checked on several times by the management as well ! The bone marrow is a must try.
