Best Romantic Restaurants in South Indy

A great place to go for a casual evening. Great good and terrific service. Parking convenient, and cute shops surrounding the restaurant if you care to shop a bit.

Has quickly become one of our favorite date night restaurants. The food is the most authentic Italian I have had in Indy and compares closely with the food made by my Italian mother and Grandmother growing up. Love the calamari served with legs, not just rings. Love the wedding soup as well. Another favorite is the piccata. Also enjoy the linguine & shrimp.

One of the most beautiful restaurants I’ve visited. Located in a beautiful house, the Cake Bake Shop is a fairyland with sparkles, shine and stuffed animals everywhere. Even the potato chips glitter, courtesy of edible glitter, and there’s lots details like freshly sharpened color pencils for kids and a “dragon wish” show. This location isn’t as large as the Carmel location - be warned that there were only 2 restrooms - with a more limited menu, but the same impeccable design and amazing service. Chicken velvet soup and the ham rosemary quiche are perfect cold weather choices. Also love the Petunia punch.
