Designated historical, 740 is one of Colorado's two oldest remaining saloons; transformed back to its 1904 roots; a traditional American dining saloon with a turn of the century ambiance featuring a magnificent room dominating bar, built in 1880 by the Brunswick Company,. The copper spit trough, once equipped with running water, still exists at the front of the bar. Louisville, notorious for its drinking, gambling, and illegal activities, evidence of the occasional misunderstanding is the .22 caliber bullet hole in the front bar. The bar offers a selection of craft beers, wines,  handcrafted cocktails and an extensive craft bourbon selection.Dinner Tue. thru Sat.     This was our first time trying R+W and we would definitely return! All of the food was delicious and comforting without being massively heavy - we didn't have the short ribs or burger so those may be a little heavier, but worth it, I'm sure. Our server was lovely and funny and rolled with some odd requests from one of our dinner guests, haha. Would highly recommend!

    Started our night, wife’s birthday, at the bar for happy hour. Drinks were perfect. Moved to table service for our dinner, nice area. Started with the un wedge salad, loved the dressing! The candied bacon was just right. I enjoyed the beef short ribs and my wife had the salmon. Both were delicious. Our server was attentive and pleasant. Thanks for making her birthday special. We will return.

    Good location looking out at the golf course and mountains. Food was good and a good value. It was noisier than the last time we were there.
