Our magical conservatory restaurant is set amid Updown’s rambling grounds. Dine under the grape vines surrounded by beautiful 17th century brick and watch the chefs in the open kitchen tending to the wood fired grill and original farm house bread oven. The restaurant has been completely transformed by owners Ruth and Oli to be heated and fully enclosed and is open year round.Menus will be small, hyper seasonal and use the best of local and European produce and change on regular basis to reflect what’s best. Beautiful setting overlooking the bay. The weather was fabulous while we were there so we were able to sit outside to eat. Service was very slow, portions were tiny and food wasn't hot. Staff were lovely but a bit stressed as it was so busy.
