Open since 1985, this delightful, unpretentious restaurant in Forest Hill, London, is renowned for its stunning and innovative modern Indian cuisine. Babur's stylish, earthy interior features exposed brick walls, natural wooden furniture and beautiful handmade Bengali artworks. The intimate atmosphere and sensational staff have made Babur a favourite dining destination with Forest Hill locals, and the food is worth making a trip across town for. 4 of us had an excellent meal at Hausu - we picked quite a bit from the menu, so got to try lots of the dishes. There really wasn’t a bad dish across everything we ate. Normally you’d need to head into town to get a meal that is so consistently good. Now my favourite place for sure. Noise levels build as the room is pretty echo-ey. Wine list was great, with lots of options by the glass too.

Wonderful local gem. Silver service special place very few of them left . Food was delicious and a great menu covers all tastes. Service attentive and charming.
