Best Romantic Restaurants in Exeter

Our friends and ourselves enjoyed dining at Epoch. It’s always a pleasant experience and it was again a perfect evening. The food was delicious and the recommendation from our waiter Sean were terrific as was his service and his engagement to make it enjoyable. We will come back for sure ! It’s one of our to go place ! I don't think anything can match this for festiveness and tastiness--such a lovely place to bring a family celebration, and it's been decorated just beautifully for this Christmas and New Year! There's food to please everyone and we are always treated thoughtfully and kindly by the staff. We were glad to be seated further back in the restaurant early in our dinner--the live music is a terrific tradition, but nearer the bar it can make things a bit challenging for conversation.

The restaurant seemed to cater to an older crowd which wasn't bad since I am in my sixties. We were seated at a table that was very wet. When given a drink minute, there were no prices listed. When I asked the server, he didn't know how much they were and said they varied in price. The food was very good with large portions. The price was average-high being at the beach and in a resort hotel. The fisherman's platter was $28. Enjoyed the DJ and dancing in the rear of the restaurant starting at 8pm. All in all we had a good time and would go back.
