Amazing gem of a restaurant. Delicious everything, great cocktails, and a very friendly staff. Even the bread and butter is 🤤🤤🤤🤤 Make a reservation, it can get busy.

I am a member of the Laundy club and there is always a problem with them finding my account! Even with the card. The food is good, but smaller portions and we are not sure if the value is there anymore

First, it is fall is always an amazing experience to go to the Berkeley city club. It is a beautiful historical building designed by Julia Morgan, and every detail of this location is amazing. The restaurant does not disappoint it. It’s beauty and charm. It really felt like a special occasion eating there. The service was perfect. The menu was well balanced, and the food was incredible. The prices for the experience were quite reasonable. The wine selection in special selection was outstanding. This is a must restaurant.

Consistently delicious, fresh and inventive food. The big cherry buratta crostini and homemade pasta were especially tasty. We ate on their enclosed outdoor patio. They had well placed heaters which made the space cozy. I really appreciate that the dining area is relatively quiet so you can easily have a conversation. Wonderful service too. My favorite neighborhood gem.

I decided to do something special with my partner and book a dinner at a place that neither of us have ever been to. I was pleasantly surprised with the Mac Hotel dining experience. The ambiance is charming and very polished. The staff is friendly and our server, Karen, was one of the highlights of the evening. The Snapper meal was delicious and the cocktails were amazing. We will definitely be back. The one thing that I learned is that they only occasionally have the special Prime Rib dinner so you may need to call ahead.
