Wonderful lunch at delightful Mermaid Inn to impress our Fijian guests. Surrounded by wooden beams and fireplaces added to the experience. We were looked after very well; the staff were very welcoming and attentive. The food was delicious - risotto and crab starters and roast beef, roast lamb and sea bass mains. One of the highlights was the innovative charcoal butter! Will definitely go back for another memorable experience.

We ate our main meal for lunch as we knew the food was grazing food which is perfect with a few drinks while the artist is performing. The cheeseboard and the stuffed feta peppers were delicious. The ambience and decor is perfect and the staff are delightful. It made our break to Rye perfect as we thoroughly enjoyed Moss the artist and the whole experience.
