I learned early the heart of Italian cooking is the flavor…or sapore. My school of teaching was from the best; my Nonna Elena and Mother Lia. Their philosophy has been carried on in my style of cooking: use simple ingredients and the food will speak for its self.     We had a wonderful dinner. All of our meals were excellent, and the service was very good. We appreciated the host telling us that they had a large party coming in so he seated us at a quiet booth. This is our third time to the restaurant, I live out of town. And it’s one of my favorite places to go when I visit St. Louis.

    This is a restaurant you want to celebrate life in.You want to bring your date and fall in love here. You want to eat to abundance here than laugh and then eat some more. There are people at other tables celebrating their lives just like you. They are eating the same heartwarming food that soothes the soul the same as everyone else in this restaurant. I believe everyone leaves this place a little better than when they arrived, I think it might be the magic of the food or the ambiance, perhaps it's both. I just know it felt magical.
