Located at Atherton Mill in Charlotte's historic South End neighborhood, Indaco (Italian for "indigo") serves Italian cuisine.     We went to Mazi to celebrate my 22nd birthday, and I found it impressive on several fronts. Portions are small—as noted online and by our waiter—but the concept of sharing multiple small dishes was something I personally enjoyed. While the pricing may feel high for the quantity, the elegant, Manhattan-esque atmosphere added value to the experience. It started quiet but became lively as more guests arrived, making conversation a bit challenging, though not bothersome. Our waiter (I believe his name was Jermaine) was delightful, highly knowledgeable, and guided us through the menu with thoughtful recommendations. Above all, the flavors were phenomenal—easily a million out of ten in taste. Mazi is perfect for anyone who enjoys posting their night out—here you will find both flavor and flair.
